Holds Falcon 900 specific troubleshooting information
Dassault F900 s/n 143 N24FJ

ATG 2000 P/N P15864-002 S/N 1586400214543
First of all….The WIFI SSID that shows up on the face of your phone MUST BE N24FJ_WIFI. If the network shows up as LINKSYS on your Wireless on your phone>>>> Do not waste time troubleshooting the system. Any fix you implement now will soon be lost and you will be stuck in a endless circle. Order a CTR exchange and configure it correctly.
When you are ready to get into the system:

Hint s and tricks about logging into the units:
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ____Turn OFF_____ the wireless connection on you laptop before you attempt to connect to the WIRED connection on the ATG or CTR.
Try a connection with the wired connection.
If you have trouble hitting the units from the wired connection at the 500JT Panel:
Try setting up a laptop with a Static IP address of 192.168.1.50 for the LAN connection. This will be required if there is a problem with the ATG….beccause the ATG ____ONLY____ provides DHCP services to other devises on the network.
___DO NOT ALLOW the CTR to provide DHCP services___
REMEMBER: If you do set the laptop to STATIC IP, you will not be able to use the laptop as a normal user on the network.
After a reboot, the ATG takes 7 minutes to come up. During that time you will have no DHCP Services on the network. So a STATIC IP connection will come up fine, but a DHCP request connection will take the full 7 minutes or more…..frustrating.

Here is the one with heatshrink strain relief after the splices.
here is the failure due to rough handling throughout the years. The ASCB buss splices are so strong they do not flex at all. All flex occurs right at the beginning of the 24 AWG wire after the splice
Here is another example of a environmental splice broken due to hard manipulation of the harness over the years.
I cannot remember if I sent you the details for the crew….
Some time during the final flight before maintenance…..
Before takeoff be sure to set the FDR gmt and trip number.
1.
fly the autopilot on LAFCS master, and some portion of the flight fly on RAFCS master.
2. Press FDR event at any time while in flight.
During the final 20 minutes of flight, transmit to atc from the pilots side as well as the copilot side.
After landing
1. Pull “CVR” (or “VOICE RECORD”) and FDR (Or “FLIGHT RECORD”) circuit braker when clear of the runway.
2. For a F900 B, try to retrieve the autopilot fault codes from the ID802.

VP-BMB Broad band QuickGuide:
The Airstream AOC Router is found at 192.168.0.1 user admin pw flightstream
I modified the Proxy and so-on with Jo Krimsrieter on the phone. Screen captures below.
The 5040 box is found at 192.168. 1 . 10 user: admin: PW 1234
as I left it June 20, 2014, the DHCP SERVER is OFF in the 5040 box. That is contrary to the wishes of Chis Habina.
Back on, now that we understand that the 5040 connection is on the WAN side of the AOC Wireless router
_______________________________________________________________________________________
Access the 5040 through the face…. Under the 3rd floorboard.
Or through the VIP right drink ledge.
192.168.0.1 brings you to the splash screen.
Here is the 5040. Dashboard
While in the 5040 box I set ADMINISTRATION> LAN> DHCP > DISABLED……that is contrary to Chris Habinas wishes.
Here are craigs notes after getting started on the Cobham 5040
Here is some notes while Jo had me button clicking inside the FlightStream
DNS to 192.168.0.1
Static IP to 192.168.0.200 /24
Gateway to 192.168.0.1
Not sure if I entirely follow that logic.
What do we use fo9r Speed Test?
Here are some example faults
880 has RS 232 troubleshooting port out of the RT base.
Roll Cal proceedure
To exit force standby , STAB button 4 times in 3 seconds. Remember a 870 is different, some combination of push and hold 3 buttons.

Pilot Event Marker
(1) A pilot event marker is created by operating the switch on the GAIN control for two
cycles (pull out, push in, pull out, push in). A full set of parameters at that instant is
stored in the fault log. This can be useful if the pilot senses that there may be
something abnormal with the radar operation, but no fault code is being shown. This
data must be read using the RS–232 port.
