How do you build a bridge from Sapgetti?

Rules this time were:

5 pieces of spagetti

hot glue only

point loaded mid span only

metal hook or string to suspend the load

the most pennys before failure wins

Cindy’s bridge

Noah’s Bridge

Daddy’s bridge

Lucia Bridge

Cindy bridge won at 168 pennys

Noah at 88 pennys

Pop at 71 pennys

lucia at 75 pennys

HOW DO YOU GO FROM A BITMAPPED IMAGE TO USEABLE GCODE?

http://www.linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/forum/31-cad-cam/20632-routing-bitmap-contour

1. Make image as black face (B/W image) in Gimp or similar
2. Import to Inkscape
3. Trace bitmap
4. Delete bitmap – leave traced image
5. Zoom to border and set grid or guide to cutter radius
6. Do multiple Outset (need step small enougth) and observe vhere is enougth.
7. Use GcodeTools Inkscape extension – Path_to_Gcode
That’s all….

Step 6 is little tricky. I can’t set proper step to do it in one Outset operation. So I set that step to small value and observe result when is right amount. It’s easy if the grid is set to the cutter radius and image aligned to grid. Just apply Outset to reach next grid line.
I got good result with that.

How do I load the Perf Data Base in a NZ2000

Insert the USB key with the regular Nav Data Base.  The Aircraft Data Base files are on the same disk.
On the “DATA LOAD page, the 2R key should say ‘Aircraft DB”.  … If the stick has the DB on it, and it is plugged in to the data loader correctly.
Choose f900V2 or some such.
Page 6-172 of the pilots guide.
You must load both sides seperatly.

Some other notes

My performance values do not seem to be correct (ceiling altitude splits, cruise alt splits,
ETE’s, Fuel Estimates)
1. Verify that the proper Aircraft Database is in use. You can do this by looking on PERF INIT
page 1, under ACFT TYPE. This should correspond to your specific aircraft.
2. If the ACDB is incorrect (or to clear and reset ACDB performance to the default values) reload
the correct ACDB. The ACDB is available on either floppy disk 1 or 2 or the USB thumb drive
(as appropriate) of your monthly Navigation Database update.
Repeat all Data Load, Tail # and V-Speed Label steps on all CDUs.
3. Verify that SmartPerf Learning is turned
ON
on all FMSs until performance values are as desired.
At that point, turn
OFF
SmartPerf on all FMSs. Leaving SmartPerf
ON
for an extended period can

cause a divergence in the performance data saved in the individual FMSs, causing problems

How do I display high pin count from a arduino to a Ipad

Ideal implementation:

25 pin connector>4 or more MCP3208 adc’s>SPI bus>arduino> HTML 5 page with “sockets(?)>CC3000Wireless>

Then

Ipad surfs to 10.0.0.10 28

Appropriately formatted web page appears. refreshes twice a second or so.

Three major “chunks” to this project:

1. Get lots of analog channels into a arduino

a. Try Arduino 8 channels of analog first

b.multiplexed 8 Channel A to D converters

2. Have the Arduino “Host” a Web Page with that data.

a. use the native USB first, then use “Processing” or “a Python 2.x script to display

b. use the OEM wired eth backpack first

3. Have the Arduino  offer the web page wireless.

a. cc3000 wireless is prefered, may need to swap to a ?wifly?

4. Setup the Web Browser  display data

Step 1

Get data from a Arduino to a laptop by the easiest means:

ChatServer_ATS.ino

.zip file,

========================================================================

Here are a few things it took to get Python to run the plotting program

Surf to  get numpy

sudo apt-get install python-pip
sudo pip install matplotlib

=========================================================================

At present, the CC3000 will not act as a server to “Host” the web page
