Goal: construct and program a robot.  the robot will be controlled via a Android Cell phone.

The final test will be a robot soccer tournament, with each student competing on teams for the championship.

the coaster Chassis will be the same as last year.

4WD_RobotBaseThe  Controller   is an Arduino .  The drive logic board will be hand made with relays as per this Instructible. EasyRelay

here is the actual relays we used

The Bluetooth link will be provided by this (ubiquitous) HC05 module:

The header strips will be used to connect the loose wires to the arduino

easiest way  to see if  subscription is current –  still must call voice.

my.gogoair.com

Boom Quiet headset for troubleshooting – 2.5 mm jack audio out the bottom of the handset. Clearer audio, troubleshoots poor handset connection.

Painless FANS/CPDLC  for VQ-BZZ – using a 4200. Use existng  DIU and existing ST4200, (SW upgrade) to reach satellite. universal in the middle for a keyboard.

CTR = router

Remember these programs/apps

WIFI_ANALYZER  – android, for field strength.

RDP –

IPCONFIG – if you see 169.x.x.x NOT CONNECTED TO ANY DEVISE, 169 means I cant see anything.

AngryIP – to list out all available IP’s

How do you PING? – RunWindow, –  CMD to get a terminal in Windows. ……..-T will give continuous. Also try PING www.google.com to check NameServer function.

ALSO TRY ICMP ECHO_REQUEST

ATG 2000 = only 5 users, no WAN management for pair with a real SATCOM

ATG 4000 = Many users Usually pared with a AXXESS II 4200

ATG 5000  = standalone 4000 , no PBX

Axxess 4200 =   2 channel IRIDIUM

Axxess 4300 – UCS – UniversalCabinSystem , 3Ch sat com+ 1 sort burst data+ n cabin wireless POE provider+POTS+support 8 handsets+2 COCKPIT POTS, BGN

Axxess 4020 = 2 Channel Expansion

New Product, UCS-5000 = router, more users, fancy integration. stores 100 movies

ST4300 – LOTS more features, combines Single voice, CTR, ACA, AHI, FANS CAPABILITY.

DIU = Analog out to the old world, OR FANS Iridium

TCP/IP

PAN – Personal

LAN  – local,  CTR =  router, DO NOT ENABLE DHCP

WAN – Internet,   ATG =  Modem

IPV4  – running out of addresses

IPV6 – more digits

Dynamic IP – DHCP – bucket of IP’s to hand out.

Static IP –  Hard Addressed

If there is a ATG IT MUST BE THE DHCP SERVER

4000 AN be a server, 4200 CAN BE A SERVER.

NEW PRODUCTS:

GoGo Biz voice – VOIP down to the ground, ONLY 2 GOOD QUALITY PHONE CALLS at once.

TextandTalk – Key requires two keys, TEXT and TALK and voice,Voice is free.  IMESSGE, SMS  MUST BE TURNED OFF. TURN OFF SIRI.

GOGO VISION – drags in content from a FBO hotspot.

Garmin, Phenom, Drops labels, Must prioritize labels manually.  they sometimes roll back to defaults.

Breakin:

Extended setup:

4300 UCS – 192.168.1.100

MUST leave GATEWAY at .65 IF STANDALONE 4300,  LEAVE DHCP on.

IF you have a ATG it  is ALWAYS THE ONLY DHCP SERVER. 4300 DHCP Server OFF.  4300 Gateway to .15?

SLIDE 109 = sys defauts for 4300

Here s the Standard IP’s setup

Mainly used as a DataChannel by Aircell.

Low Loss from Ant to DLNA

Red Button resets to factory defaults for THAT POWER CYCLE ONLY.

May have to set APN password in multiple screens

Click YellowTriangle for fault log. Log can be opened with Notepadd++ to allow English readable.

Download Log File BEFORE SELF TEST
