Install SENSI app on your phone
NORMAL SETUP. Install Batteries. Take a picture of the back of the unit, and the newly wired wall mount.
1st level troubleshooting: Remove batteries for 2 min. Install NEW batteries. Unit is now FACTORY RESET. Wait 10 min and see what happens.
2nd level troubleshooting:
If lock symbol persists, walk out of range of the WIFI, then <UPARROW>And <MENU> at the same time hold for 10 seconds . Screen will blank. Unit is now unlocked.
3rd level:
walk out of range of WIFI. Press <UPARROW>And<DOWNARROW>And<FAN> for 30 seconds. Unit is now HARD RESET.
The Honeywell helpline was surprisingly helpful.

Until I stumbled upon this link. Sheesh, took over a week, but I am fbcjUSTINPYEAR posting about it here again, just so it can help others out as much as I can.
PRESS and hold UP, DOWN, and FAN buttons until you see the LCD blank out, THEN try to Add it to HomeKit again, and IT WILL ACTUALLY WORK!
